Yes. BoardCraft lets you add and arrange text, uploaded images, clipart, borders, banners, letter sets, name tags, shapes, and other classroom design elements.

Each letter set includes uppercase A-Z, numbers 0-9, punctuation and special characters. You can check the letter set preview before using it to make sure it includes the characters you need. If you type a character that is not in the set, BoardCraft skips it silently and only places the characters that exist.

Templates and Sharing

Yes. Templates give you a ready-made layout that you can customize for your classroom or resource project instead of building everything from scratch.
Cloneable template sharing is included with the Seller plan. It lets other users open a shared template and make their own copy without changing your original board.
Yes. When you share a template, users with your shared template link can copy the template into their own account, subject to their plan limits. This is a great way for sellers to share with their customers.

Uploads and Storage
4 answers
Yes. You can upload your own images and use them in your boards. Upload storage and file-size limits depend on your plan.
BoardCraft supports common classroom image uploads such as PNG, JPG, and JPEG files. Uploaded images must meet your plan's file-size limits to be added to your upload library and used on boards.
Upload storage and file-size limits depend on your plan. Free includes 50 MB of upload storage and a 5 MB file-size limit, Teacher includes 500 MB and a 10 MB file-size limit, and Seller includes 2 GB and a 20 MB file-size limit.
If the image is used in a saved board or shared template, deleting it removes it from your upload library only, so the existing board or template can still keep using it. If the image is not used anywhere, it is deleted permanently.

Exporting and Printing
7 answers
Yes. BoardCraft supports four export options: PNG for a single image of your board, PDF for print-ready files, Print Items Separately for printing individual board pieces, and Individual Elements ZIP for exporting separate design elements in a ZIP file. Some export options may depend on your plan.
Print items separately is an export mode that puts board elements on separate pages instead of exporting the whole board as one image. Text is split into individual characters, clipart is placed and tiled across pages if needed, banners and borders are repeated to fill pages efficiently. This makes it easy to cut out each piece and assemble your board by hand.
When printing items separately, you can choose between US Letter (8.5 x 11 inches) and A4 at export time. Full board PNG and PDF exports use your board's own dimensions rather than a standard paper size.
Yes. Export your design as a supported print-ready file, then print it from your browser, PDF viewer, school printer settings, or a print shop.
Free users can export up to 3 times per day and 30 times per month. Teacher and Seller plans remove the free-plan export caps for regular classroom and seller workflows.
Large boards, high-resolution images, many design elements, or print-ready files can take longer to process. Keep the tab open while BoardCraft finishes the export.
Individual element ZIP export is a Seller feature that packages separate design elements, in a PNG format, into a ZIP file for download. This is ideal for teacher-sellers who want to create digital resources with separate pieces that customers can customize.

Troubleshooting

Some exports, premium assets, uploads, and seller tools are tied to plan limits. Locked states usually mean the feature is part of Teacher or Seller.
You may have reached your plan's board limit. Free users can create up to 3 boards, while Teacher and Seller include unlimited boards.
Try refreshing the page first. If the image still does not load, check your connection, confirm the file is still in your uploads, and contact support with the board ID if it continues.
Try exporting again after a short wait. If the board is very large, remove unused elements or reduce oversized images. If the issue continues, contact support with the board ID and export type.
Template cloning may fail if the template is unavailable, your account is not signed in, or your plan has reached its board limit. Try signing in and checking your available board space.
Use the contact page and include your account email, what you were trying to make, and any error message you saw. That helps support understand the issue faster.
