Personalize a sign, label, or shape for one student, or apply the same design to a whole class list. Each generated tag stays editable, so you can change a name or adjust its placement later.

1. Choose the base artwork
Open Tags in the left toolbar and choose a design with enough space for a name. The example uses Gift Box Desk Name Tag. You can also start from compatible clipart, an uploaded image, or an SVG shape on the board.
Select the artwork on the board and choose Create Name Tag in the selection toolbar. If the command is under More selection actions, open that menu first.

2. Create a tag for one student
The new tag appears on the canvas with sample text. In Properties → Name tag, replace the sample in Name. The example uses Maya. Double-click the name text on the canvas to edit it there.

3. Style and position the name
Open the Font picker in Properties and choose a font. Use the name formatting and alignment buttons or drag the name text into place. The example uses bold Open Sans.

Choose Text color and, if needed, Stroke color and Stroke size (px). The example uses blue text with a white stroke. Choose No stroke to remove the outline.

Use Width (in) and Height (in) in Basics for the overall tag dimensions. Keep Keep ratio enabled to scale the artwork proportionally. The example is 8 inches wide.

4. Change the artwork behind the name
Select the tag and choose Open full editor to open the Edit Name Tag dialog. Under Tag asset, choose Change to browse available artwork. After changing the asset, check the name’s size and position against the new design.

5. Turn a class list into a grid
Select your styled tag and choose Bulk create. In Batch, enter one name per line in Name List.
Check the name count. Set Columns and Gap while reviewing Grid Preview. The example uses six names in three columns.
Review the Sample Tag and adjust the shared formatting if needed. Changes appear on the board while you edit. Choose Close when the layout is ready.

6. Check long names and the board fit
The sample uses the first name in the list. Temporarily put a long name first if you need to check its fit with the shared font size. Then restore the list order and check the generated tags on the canvas.

Compare the tag width, number of columns, and gap with the available board width. If the grid extends past an edge, reduce the tag width, gap, or column count and check the result again.

7. Edit and arrange the created tags
Each generated tag has its own row in Layers. Select a row or click a tag on the canvas. Use the Name field in Properties to fix the wording on that tag.

Use Duplicate for another tag with the same style. Convert Back returns the selected tag to its base artwork.

8. Save and prepare for printing
Choose Fit to screen and check that every tag is within the board. Select Save and wait for Saved. For printing and assembly, see Print, Cut, and Assemble Your Board with Print Pack.
