Build a classroom heading from illustrated letters. Arrange the title in Word Builder, revise the wording later, or separate the letters so you can move and rotate them individually.

1. Choose a letter set
Open Letters in the left toolbar. Show the tools panel from the top toolbar if it is hidden.
Browse the cards or use Search letter sets. Open Filters to narrow the library by access.
Select an available set. BoardCraft places an editable group on the canvas with sample wording and opens its Word Builder controls in Properties.

The example uses Holiday Evergreen Letters. You can follow along with any available set that includes the letters you need.
2. Enter the wording and check the characters
In Text, type GROW, press Enter, and type TOGETHER. Check the title on the board as you type.
Expand Available characters to see the set’s letters, numbers, and punctuation. If a character is missing, the inspector lists it. It stays in the text field and its artwork is skipped. Lowercase letters can use matching uppercase artwork when the set provides it.

3. Set size, spacing, and line breaks
Control | What it changes |
|---|---|
Size (in) | The height used to scale the letter artwork. Each character keeps its own proportions. |
Gap (in) | The horizontal space between characters. |
Line Height (in) | The extra vertical space between rows. |
Wrap width (in) | The width available for each row before the wording wraps. Press Enter to start a row at a specific point. |
Alignment | Positions the rows to the left, center, or right within the title layout. |
For the example, use a 4-inch size, a 0.2-inch gap, a 0.6-inch line height, and center alignment. Increase Wrap width if a row breaks earlier than you want.

4. Add a curve or change the letter set
Under Curve, choose Arc up, Arc down, Wave, or Flag. Adjust Amount (in) to change how strongly it bends. The example uses Arc up at 0.5 inches. Select None for straight rows.

To try different artwork, select Change beside Letter set. Search or browse the picker, choose a set, and check how its character shapes and coverage affect the title. Select Done to close the picker.

5. Keep the title as one editable group
The title appears as one layer in Layers. Move or resize it as a unit while keeping the wording editable. Use Properties → Basics for exact dimensions or position. The board element counter includes the rendered letters even though the title occupies one layer.

6. Edit the title later
Select the title on the canvas and choose Edit Letters Group.
In Text, change the first line to WE GROW. Keep TOGETHER on the second line.
Review the result on the canvas. Check the wrapping and spacing again whenever you change the wording or artwork.

7. Work with individual letters
To keep the editable title while trying separate letters, select it and choose Duplicate. Select the copy, use Edit Letters Group to change its text to READ, and move it below the title. Choose Convert to separate letters in the selection toolbar. BoardCraft replaces the selected group with one image layer per rendered letter.

Click one letter to select it by itself. Drag it to move it or use Rotate (°) in Properties → Basics to tilt it. Here, only the R is rotated to −10°.

To add a single character, select an editable group from the set and open Available characters → Browse individual characters in Word Builder. Choose a character from the grid in Letters. Use Back to all letter sets to return to the library.

8. Review and save the board
Select Fit to screen to check the full title, especially the space between rows and around nearby artwork. Select Save and wait for Saved.
